The library provides:
- A large and diverse resource collection including books, journals, video, CDs, DVDs.
- Assistance with searching for information and answers to specific reference enquiries
- Access to a wide variety of electronic information including databases and selected web sites
- Training on how to access and use library and other TAFE information services and products, including the student portal
- Published information guides and handbooks to help users gain expertise and to improve their study and learning skills.

All Library services and resources are searchable via the library website. The website is available
on the Internet. All computers on campus have access to the website, each campus library has dedicated computers for
searching the library catalogue and website. Our website was designed by students for students.

There are libraries located on each of the main campuses of Swan TAFE with small
collections available to students at the Equine Centre and Armadale Campus. Details about
individual libraries are available from "Contact Us".
Each Library has photocopiers, laminators, fully equipped computer centres,
internet access, printers (B&W and colour) and scanners, fax machines, study areas, group meeting areas,
video players available for currently enrolled students.
While using the library please abide by the "Library Code of Conduct".

Open access computer areas in each library provide access to Internet, MS Office and other software specific to courses taught at that campus.
Bookings are essential. Students must follow the "Acceptable use by Student of Computers, Network and Internet Services".

All students are automatically registered as library members, when they enrol at Swan TAFE. View the "Lending Services"

Swan TAFE staff and students are entitled to borrow resources from most other TAFEWA Colleges and Edith Cowan Universities, Murdoch and Notre Dame Libraries.
These students (other than Swan) may also use our library, given ID and conditions. Swan TAFE students will need to take with them a current student/library ID card, and their enrolment form.

The facility is located at the rear of the library and provides a venue for students to sit or resit theory based tests at times convenient to the student.
Students at other Swan TAFE campuses should make assessment arrangements with their lecturers.
